EducateMe

About the project

Lack of education tends to increase the likelihood of living in poverty. It is also true that youths with tertiary qualifications have a higher chance of securing a better-paying job and making better-informed decisions that affect their social, economic, and political wellbeing.

In line with our Ease mission pathway, EducateME is an initiative to purchase JAMB/UTME forms for students from low-income and underserved communities. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian institution that conducts National entrance exams similar to A-levels. It is a determinant for prospective students to be admitted into tertiary institutions.

Impact Stories

I am one of the beneficiaries of the Free Jamb registration initiated by Velocity Initiative. Considering the fact that it was a privilege for me to have benefited from this free initiative, I was motivated to read hard to justify the gesture. This showed in my Jamb score as I am one of the candidates that passed despite the massive failure recorded in this year's Jamb examination. I am getting ready to be admitted into the University. Thank you Velocity Initiative. God bless all the teachers and initiators of the program.

I am excited about EducateME initiative. I have been working since 2016 in other to raise funds for my university education. I do not have any sponsor to see me through the process of attaining higher education. I am happy to be part of the beneficiary of the free Jamb forms. Now my dreams of studying in a tertiary institution can be actualized.
