Founder and Director

I work in program management for a global social tech company. I previously worked for a multinational conglomerate and also have extensive experience in the public sector. I am passionate about social justice, the right of any group of people to self-determine, and youth development in Nigeria. When I am not working, you will find me reading, traveling, playing video games, and being terrible at playing the guitar.

I am a strong believer in “learning, unlearning and relearning”. Adopting this mindset will make Nigerian youths fulfill their infinite potential and build the Nigeria of our dreams.
I enjoy traveling, photography and I am a devoted Manchester United supporter.

I work in HR because what’s not to love about a job where you leave each day knowing that you helped at least one person! I am particularly passionate about helping people achieve their highest potential so naturally when the opportunity came to join Velocity’s leadership team, I welcomed it. I also love to cook (when I am in the mood), read books (especially historical romance), and practice Yoga!

I am a finance and development enthusiast whose career has been dedicated to supporting the implementation of various international donor-funded projects through finance and grants management.

I believe that development can only be achieved when infrastructures in health, education, and economic empowerment are built and sustained at the grassroots. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and living!

Marketing and Finance Executive

I am a member of the Financial Alliance for Women, New York; and a seasoned banker with 10 years of experience. When I am not in my serious mode, I love spending time with my two beautiful boys a.k.a ‘The Badagry Boys”, listening to good music, dancing, working out, and goofing around a lot. I love engaging in community service programs aimed at developing human capital especially amongst the under-privileged and less empowered youths and women.

I am an highly dedicated educator and administrator with experience in teaching and mentoring students, with specific interest in equality, community development and capacity development. I am also passionate about working with, and supporting young people and women, particularly  disadvantaged ones so they can reach their potential and also empower themselves. I love cooking and doting on my children too!

I am currently working as a Technology Project Manager in the financial services space. I also have experience in the implementation of initiatives for public and private firms especially in the areas of entrepreneurship, education to employment, financial inclusion, and youth development. I am convinced that equipping the Nigerian youth especially the underprivileged to be financially independent is the key to impactful change. I am an ardent reader, I eat and breathe African Literature!

I am always excited to work with young people, women and children who live in underserved communities in Nigeria. I strongly believe that young people need to be heard. I have a strong desire to succeed. I am a persistent person too, and once I have a dream, I’ll do all my best to achieve it.

I really love to work and learn. But when I’m not working, I am reading a book, dancing, swimming and enjoying the outdoors.
